Mandate
Front-end migration and consolidation of headless online stores
Attitude requested Novatize’s expertise to meet a challenge at the heart of its eCommerce operations: the migration of the Front-End of its websites, built on the Shogun solution. Our priority was to consolidate multiple stores into a minimal number to optimize operations, as well as reduce high costs and third-party-dependent maintenance fees. This process involved the seamless migration of subscribers while ensuring increased site speed. The central objective was to guarantee a flexible environment, ready for future projects. Using the Shopify Hydrogen development framework, combined with Shopify Oxygen for hosting, Attitude’s new Front-End was born.
Approach
Put Shopify's Meta Objects at the heart of the solution
To meet deadlines and quickly accelerate loading times, the solution was simple: use Shopify’s Meta Objects for page elements. Built with the Remix library for its native integration with Shopify Hydrogen, the platform offers a modern, streamlined development experience for creating high-performance, maintainable web applications. It combines server-side rendering with client-side interactivity, giving developers the tools they need to create robust, efficient Web experiences.
Results
An optimized international headless platform
The implemented solution now offers intuitive Shopify store management in two distinct languages, across multiple sales regions. By opting for a purely headless architecture native to Shopify, with no CMS, we eliminated caching delays and unnecessary costs. Instead, we integrated the necessary functionality directly into the Shopify application API, guaranteeing a fluid and responsive user experience in all languages.
