The brand is now well recognized throughout Quebec, and is gaining notoriety in other Canadian provinces. In 2022, Lambert launched Redefined, a high-end collection of bags made with vegea, a vegan material made of mostly vegetable, renewable and recycled raw materials.

Mandate

Shopify 1.0 to 2.0 migration

Novatize’s mandate was to accompany Lambert toward a migration from Shopify 1.0 to 2.0. Lambert wanted to improve the user experience and optimize the performance of its online store. This migration allowed them to perfect the UX/UI design of the site and to see the emergence of their new high-end brand Redefined.

Objectives

Improve the user experience and internationalize

Beyond the visual component, one of the objectives of the redesign was to highlight the new “Redefined” brand on Lambert’s website to offer an attractive, yet consistent shopping experience. We wanted to show the consumer that Redefined is a collection and a world of its own that stands apart from the regular collection, but without overshadowing it. Lambert also wanted to improve their product sheets to give more key information to their customers in their buying journey. Finally, Lambert began an internationalization strategy for their eCommerce sales. This redesign allows them to begin the process of entering the United States market.

Results

A better performing experience

The migration from Shopify 1.0 to 2.0 improved the site’s performance, making it faster and more efficient. Through a rigorous research process by Novatize designers, we improved site navigation and filters to better meet user needs (shopping by collections, models, materials, etc.). In addition, we reduced the perceived risk of the product by adding incentives in the product sheet, and a clearer and more concise product description.
