Camso's objective was to optimize the shopping experience for its Powersports offering, which includes a variety of complex products. Already selling its parts online, the challenge was to propel the eCommerce marketplace for its flagship UTV, ATV and snowmobile products for the very first time. We also had to highlight some complex and popular products, and make it easier for consumers to use them. Camso has a rich content bank of both support and customer testimonials, and the strategy was to categorize everything to promote the diversity of relevant content and facilitate access to documentation and maintenance tools. The aim was to present a simple user experience that would promote conversion and customer understanding. Our specialists also had to consider all SEO best practices to ensure a migration to the new site that would perform well in terms of organic referencing.
The first step was to rethink the tree structure to facilitate access to key information for new users, and simplify the journey of a current Camso product owner. The redesign of Camso's eCommerce site modernized the user experience while improving the visibility of the transfer assistant and product conversion.
