With a new product line, Comfort Temps partnered with Novatize to launch its eCommerce platform on Shopify Plus. Originally operating with B2B-focused processes, the company aimed to adapt its buying experience to a rapidly growing residential market. One of the project’s main challenges was the technical complexity of the products, requiring a clear and well-structured presentation to make them easy to understand. The goals were clear: build brand awareness online, drive sales, optimize logistics, and deliver a customer experience that meets the highest industry standards.
One of the project’s main challenges was the highly technical nature of the products, particularly heat pumps, which require careful guidance throughout the buying process. Even in a B2C context, customer needs can be specific and selection criteria numerous. To address this, the website integrates decision-support tools such as a BTU calculator and an EcoRebate simulator. These features help customers choose the right products based on their home’s characteristics and available government incentive programs.
Comfort Temps’ new Shopify Plus platform is live and ready to fuel the brand’s expansion across the United States. Featuring custom product pages that make technical information easier to understand, the site aims to reduce customer service inquiries and product returns. It includes calculators to estimate energy savings and refrigerant requirements, along with an Eco-Rebate tool to determine available incentives based on location and product choice. Customers can upload proof of installation directly to their profile, streamlining warranty management. Connected to Amazon and a 3PL partner, the platform ensures centralized, efficient logistics for the U.S. market. The customer experience is further enhanced with integrations such as Gorgias, Klaviyo, and a rewards-based referral program, laying the foundation for sustainable growth and strong customer relationships.
