Exceldor Cooperative
Novatize’s mandate initially focused on updating the existing Shopify eCommerce platform used by employees, resolving known pain points, stabilizing the technical environment, and improving the user interface. Once this first phase was completed, the team was tasked with designing a second, standalone Shopify storefront tailored specifically to partner farmers. This platform followed a different business logic (notably by removing quantity limits), while still leveraging the same technical foundation. The result: a cohesive, scalable ecosystem that’s easy to maintain
Exceldor Cooperative aimed to streamline and strengthen its internal sales ecosystem by making it more reliable, easier to manage, and better aligned with the unique needs of its two core audiences: employees and producers. For the employee-facing sales portal, the focus was on improving platform reliability while retaining essential features such as scheduled sales periods and product-level purchase limits. Enhancing the overall user experience, both visually and functionally, was a key part of the mandate. Meanwhile, the new ordering portal for producers was designed to provide a dedicated interface, offering unlimited purchasing capabilities and a user experience tailored to the specific needs of this audience.
The updated employee ordering portal helped reinforce a key internal sales channel by resolving technical pain points and ensuring the stability of an already well-established system. The result: a smoother, more intuitive platform aligned with the expectations of internal users. On the operational side, site and order management were significantly simplified. The combination of timed sales cycles and targeted technical improvements allowed Exceldor Cooperative to reduce manual workload and boost efficiency with each sales cycle. The launch of a dedicated sales portal for producers unlocked a new structured sales channel with a tailored business logic. Built on a reliable technical foundation, Novatize enabled Exceldor Cooperative to deploy a distinct user experience rapidly while maintaining a cohesive digital ecosystem. Today, Exceldor Cooperative operates a more robust, efficient, and scalable eCommerce ecosystem, engineered to support long-term growth and maximize operational impact.
