City of Québec Supports the Commercialization of Novatize’s SPINE B2B Accelerator

Novatize has received financial support from the City of Québec to help commercialize SPINE, its Shopify B2B accelerator designed for manufacturers and distributors. This project is made possible through financial support from the City of Québec’s Vision entrepreneuriale Québec 2030, powered by the Fonds de la région de la Capitale-Nationale.

Developed by the Novatize team, SPINE aims to simplify and accelerate the digital transformation of industrial businesses seeking to offer their customers a better online buying experience.

The accelerator combines Shopify with features and integrations suited to the often complex realities of the industrial sector, including connections to business systems, customer-specific pricing, company account management, and ordering and approval processes.

This approach allows manufacturers and distributors to benefit from Shopify’s flexibility while addressing the specific needs of their B2B operations. SPINE helps reduce the technical complexity of launching an eCommerce platform and speeds up the delivery of new digital experiences.

Supporting local innovation in a changing industry

The City of Québec support will help Novatize accelerate the commercialization of SPINE and bring this expertise, developed in Québec, to more businesses.

“Manufacturers and distributors are undergoing a significant transformation in how they sell. With SPINE, our ambition is to give them faster access to powerful eCommerce tools while accounting for the real complexity of their operations. The City of Québec support allows us to accelerate this vision and bring an innovation developed here to businesses both at home and elsewhere.”
— François-Jérôme Gosselin, President of Novatize

“By supporting Novatize in the commercialization of SPINE, the City of Québec is helping manufacturers and distributors accelerate their digital transformation. This locally developed solution will help them become more efficient, strengthen their competitiveness and pursue new business opportunities. It is a promising innovation that once again demonstrates the strength of Québec’s technology expertise.”
— Catherine Vallières-Roland, member of the City of Québec executive committee responsible for economic development

For Novatize, this project is part of a broader commitment to modernizing sales processes for manufacturers and distributors and strengthening its expertise in the industrial sector. The company aims to help these organizations better connect their operations, data and digital sales experience.

This project is made possible through financial support from the City of Québec Vision entrepreneuriale Québec 2030, powered by the Fonds de la région de la Capitale-Nationale.

Focused on entrepreneurship, innovation, growth, financing and support, Vision entrepreneuriale Québec 2030 aims to make Québec Canada’s entrepreneurship capital. It brings together programs and financial assistance measures to help businesses grow. The Vision receives funding from the Government of Québec through the Fonds de la région de la Capitale-Nationale. The City of Québec and the Secrétariat à la Capitale-Nationale are key partners in promoting the Vision.
